2023 Olazabal & Friends Charity Pro-Am

After the successful launch in 2022, the Olazabal & Friends Charity ProAm will return to Costa Navarino from November 16-18, 2023.

With a maximum of 72 participants ( 54 amateur guests and 18 Pros including José María Olazábal and Miguel Ángel Jiménez ), the initiative is best described as an up close golf experience with José María and his Pro friends in an almost family like atmosphere.

All proceeds of the event will be donated to Sport Mundi for support of children in need ( www.sport-mundi.es ) and to the Captain Vassilis & Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation.

PROGRAMME

Nov. 16: Arrival Practice Round Evening Welcome Reception and Dinner from 19:00

Nov. 17: Competition Day 1, first round (18 holes ) Shot Gun Start, Joint Lunch and Golf Practice, Dinner Party

Nov. 18: Competition Day 2, final round (18 holes ) Shot Gun Start , Joint Lunch with Prize Giving

Nov. 19: Individual Departures

1 Amateur Team of three plays with one Pro. The best two net scores per hole count. Pros alternate each day so that amateur teams play with different Pros on each day. Pro selection is decided by draw during the previous evening’s dinner function.

Costa Navarino, the Mediterranean’s prime sustainable destination, and José María Olazábal, the World Golf Hall of Fame star, have teamed up in 2022 for the inaugural Olazabal & Friends Charity Pro Am to raise money for good causes and to celebrate Costa Navarino’s expansion from two to four golf courses.

Following the successful launch last year, the Olazabal & Friends Charity ProAm in 2023 will again take place at Costa Navarino and played on the International Olympic Academy Golf Course as well as the Hills Course, both designed by José María Olazábal.
