Hellas Rally Raid 2022 - Day 3

Day three of the Hellas Rally Raid, today’s Special Stage was cancelled due to safety reasons. All participants were able to take some time off, relax, enjoy the sun and the sea close to the city of Loutraki, located just one hour from Athens. Both men and engines were able to cool off, gather strength and energy and prepare for the big upcoming stage taking place on Wednesday.

The Marathon stage, the biggest one-day rally stage in Europe and represents an extreme challenge even for the most experienced participants. 360kms of intense action across the majestic Central Greece peninsula through the mountainous terrain of Itea, under the Mount Parnassus.

High temperatures will once more be an important challenge for the riders, who will have to push hard but also take care of their vehicles as they won’t have any mechanical assistance till their return to the bivouac, at the end of the 5th day of the event. Participants are really excited for the race day ahead but must plan everything to the last detail as they will stay overnight in Itea.
