Registrations are officially open for the 2026 World Rookie Freeski Finals, set to return to Ursus Snowpark in Madonna di Campiglio (Italy) from March 15th to 20th, 2026.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Finals will take place in Madonna di Campiglio, confirming the strong partnership between the World Rookie Tour and one of the most iconic alpine destinations in Europe. The Dolomites once again become the global stage for the next generation of freeski talent.

As the ultimate stop of the international rookie circuit, the event gathers the best qualified Grom and Rookie freeskiers from all over the world for a week of progression, competition and international exposure.
The competition format includes a Freeski Slopestyle (FIS Junior event) and a Rail Contest, hosted exclusively on the L Line of Ursus Snowpark, one of Europe’s most progressive kicker lines.

The setup guarantees safe progression while allowing athletes to push their technical limits.

Live Streaming confirmed again for 2026
The Slopestyle Finals on Wednesday, March 18th will once again be broadcasted live worldwide, confirming the professional media production that has characterized recent editions.

The live stream provides global visibility to emerging freeski talent and allows families, teams and fans worldwide to follow every run in real time from the Dolomites.

More than a title
Winning the World Rookie Freeski Finals means earning the prestigious title of World Rookie Freeski Champion, but the impact goes far beyond the podium.
Champions officially enter the World Rookie Tour Hall of Fame, becoming part of a legacy that has launched numerous international careers.

Podium athletes will also unlock exclusive prizes, including tickets to World Rookie Camp, special Red Bull Experiences, invitations to Rock A Rail 2026, Surf Camps in Santander, Golden Tickets and products from brands such as Collective [of] Moving People, TSG, Blue Tomato, Level Gloves and more.

Qualification & Ranking
Participation in the World Rookie Freeski Finals offers athletes the opportunity to earn points valid for both the FIS rankings and the World Rookie Freeski Rank.

Importantly, holding a FIS code is not mandatory to compete in the World Rookie Freeski Finals, making the event accessible to all qualified riders while still maintaining international competitive standards.

The top 3 riders (male and female, Rookie and Grom) from each 2026 World Rookie Tour stop are already qualified. In addition, every nation is entitled to 6 wild card spots for the Finals.

This structure guarantees both merit-based qualification through the Tour and broader international representation at the season’s most important event.
