Hellas Rally Raid 2022 - Day 5

Fifth day of the Hellas Rally Raid, probably the longest, warmest, and most challenging day so far. Many participants couldn’t face the mighty marathon stage and didn’t reach the finish line of the rocky route. In the biggest rally special stage Europe has seen, all riders gave their everything and ssv vehicles proved themselves almost as fast, as moto.

After 5 days of competition and having become familiar with the local terrain, Hugues Lacam and his navigator Max Delfino were the fastest amongst the SSV Class. In the MOTO & Quad Class, the young Austrian Tobias Ebster and Wilkolek Marcin are leading their groups respectively picking up the pace as we’re approaching the last part of the race.

Remaining riders had some time to make the essential repairs on their vehicles and get some hours of well-deserved rest before day 6. Everyone is eager to stand on the starting point with just 2 racing days remaining, in order to go flat out until the finish line.
